HEALTH INSURANCE
GLOBAL
PERSPECTIVE
21 -22 November, 2007
HEALTH INSURANCE
Health shouldn’t be
viewed as merely a medical problem that ought to be solved through medical
professions alone. Health problems mainly arise through social, cultural
and economical aspects and are related to almost all the specialties and to
every single activity in our everyday life.
The healthcare insurance
industry has seen many rapid changes allover the world. There is no
disputing that there is an urgent need for a more effective health
insurance system capable of providing citizens with high-quality treatment
at their outlet of choice.
Nowadays, There is disputing
about the government's plan to develop the health insurance sector and the
new universal social health insurance law.
The new universal social health
insurance law is supposed to enhance coverage for all, with the rich
shouldering a large part of the financing, while the government covers the
treatment of the poorest.
The program of this event is
made to allow representation of all stakeholders of health insurance
problems. However, the vision of the conference is to stress on the
scientific approach exposing the roles of the private business and
not-for-profit sectors in health Insurance systems.
The sessions of the conference include
presentations of different international and funding agencies concerned
with health and development. Other sessions are dedicated to raise
different aspects of comprehensive health approaches including health
economics. A large number of sessions will allow the business sector to
